Headquarters Renovations

The 20-story, 400,000 SF Atrium One Building in downtown Cincinnati was purchased and renovated to serve as the headquarters for Convergys.

Benefits:
A detailed alternatives analysis explored dozens of upgrade and improvement alternatives.  All major MEP systems were upgraded to improve their energy performance, reliability, and condition.

Types of Services:

• Complete MEP systems upgrade of several floors, retaining portions of the existing systems, improving the air distribution and temperature control, adding a lighting control system
• Installed new modular condensing boilers to serve the entire building
• Expanded the digital control system to the entire facility
• Added a building chilled-water riser with taps on every floor for data-room cooling and a small chiller to serve off-peak loads
• Rebuilt cooling towers, main air handler fans (400,000 CFM), chiller controls
• Relocated a 1,000 kVA emergency generator from another site
