FACILITY AUDITS CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR NEEDS
We’ve performed audits of MEP systems in well over 500 buildings since 1980. Audit complexity has varied widely from very detailed and comprehensive, to audits focused on particular energy systems. We avoid a “one-size-fits-all” approach, preferring instead to customize the audit to suit the customer's objectives and the savings potential.
A common audit objective is to find ways to reduce utility costs. The audit typically identifies alternatives, develops savings and construction cost estimates, and presents the data in life-cycle-costing format.
We have a wide variety of instruments that are used to quantify present operating conditions. Field measurements frequently help us identify additional savings opportunities and give you greater assurance that the savings projections are realistic.
Another common objective of an audit is to troubleshoot a system problem. The focus may be on comfort conditions, noise, excessive pressure drops, lack of capacity, and other maladies. Again, field measurements and analysis tools help us find the problems and evaluate a range of solutions.
