Utility Conservation Master Plan and Upgrades
Benefits:
Helped the County obtain funding, identify cost-reduction alternatives, implement the results. To date, the County has implemented more than 20 improvements for a savings of over $200,000/year. The County has also earned two Governor’s Awards for proactive utility conservation efforts.
Types of Services:
- Assisted the County in obtaining a Rebuild America matching grant from the Ohio Department of Development
- Performed energy audits in 24 County-owned facilities, totaling more than 3.4M SF
- Developed an Energy Master Plan with a 3-year implementation schedule that identified 60 improvements with annual savings over $800,000 with a 4-year simple payback period
CITY OF CINCINNATI, (Have completed over 160 projects)
Cincinnati Water Works Expansion and Remodel
Benefits:
Project completed in phases to eliminate office downtime.
Type of Service(s):
- 25,000 SF, 2-story addition with full-service kitchen, renovation of existing building
- New digital control system, sprinkler system, fire alarm system, voice/video/data network, card access system, security cameras, motion detectors, door alarms, security doors, and exterior lighting and infrared sensors
- HVAC upgrade including new built-up air handlers
- Reuse of existing steam boiler system for the expansion
- New chillers, cooling towers, and pumping systems tied into the existing chilled water system
