HIGH-PERFORMANCE DESIGN IN EVERY PROJECT
Since our founding in 1980, we’ve built our reputation around an innovative design approach we call ThermalTech High-Performance Buildings. This approach delivers practical, cost-effective buildings and energy systems that achieve superior long-term energy and environmental performance.
This approach is so successful that we’ve trademarked our process. ThermalTech has developed over 150 high-performance design concepts that are practical and easy to build, maintain, and operate. (more)
ThermalTech High-Performance Buildings starts with an integrative design process that includes collaboration with the customer and other design team members to select the best concepts and reduce loads/costs. This process includes:
We design to achieve high performance on every project. Project costs can be less than conventional design, and life-cycle operating costs are substantially less.
Our numerous awards, which include 4 national and 7 regional ASHRAE Technology Awards, are evidence of our commitment to helping customers.
High-performance design can include the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) sustainable approach promoted by the U.S. Green Building Council. ThermalTech has completed many LEED® projects, including the first LEED® Silver project in Ohio. We were the first engineering firm to have LEED® Accredited Professionals in Ohio and Michigan. More than 20% of our technical staff has earned this credential -- a measure of our commitment to sustainable design.
ThermalTech is an active member of the USGBC and serves on the Executive Committee that founded the SW Ohio Chapter.
